Multiple Rounds of Weekend Storms Capable of Wind, Hail, Rain and Ultimate Flash Flooding

A hazardous weather outlook has been issued by the National Weather Service out of Charleston for West Virginia counties including Harrison, Doddridge, Ritchie, Lewis, Gilmer, Upshur, Barbour and Taylor. T
No hazardous weather is expected Friday afternoon and evening, but beginning Saturday and through Thursday, hazardous weather is possible. There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms on Saturday with damaging winds being the primary threat.

Flash flooding possible through the weekend here in North Central West Virginia. With very humid air in place, showers and storms can produce a lot of rain. There will be multiple rounds of showers and storms through the weekend. Each round will be capable of producing flooding – as well as strong winds and hail.
