With regard to a May 30 collision on U.S. which claimed the life of one individual, a "no contest" plea has been entered. Nineteen-year-old Salvatore Cava was driving the SUV which struck a 2001 Harley Davidson driven by David Ralph Allen of Philippi, who died later as a result of the accident. According to WBOY, Cava has entered a "failed to yield to right of way" plea with regard to that incident.
