North, Southbound Lane Roadwork on I-79 Beyond City to Create Delays; Project to Run 24 Hours a Day

FIRST PROJECT
 
The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that there will be a Lane Closure on Interstate 79 from Mile Post 155.50 to the West Virginia-Pennsylvania State Line beginning on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 3:00 a.m. through Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 9:00 p.m. (24/hr).
 
The purpose for the closure is for road repair and paving.  Work will be performed on Interstate 79 Northbound Inside Lane (fast lane).  The Northbound Outside Lane (slow lane) will be opened at this time.  A Lane Closure will be in place for the duration of this phase of work.  Expect delays.  Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.  Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule. 
 
SECOND PROJECT
