Notre Dame Names Principal for 2018-19 School Year

Julie Frosch has taken over as the principal at Notre Dame High School. Frosch has been the assistant principal for the past six years and takes over from Carroll Morrison who retired at the end of the 2017-18 school year.
 
Frosch was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin and received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education (K-8) from the University of Wisconsin and her Master’s in Educational Leadership from George Mason University. She has her West Virginia Principal’s Certification and has completed the “Future Leaders” program run by the West Virginia Catholic Schools Department.
 
Frosch has devoted her whole life to Catholic education from her first job out of college to more recent times as a school board member while living in Germany, the PTO president at Fairmont Catholic School, and the Director of religious education at Immaculate Conception Church in Fairmont, a position she held for ten years running concurrently with her duties as the assistant principal at Notre Dame.
 
She had been pursued by three other Catholic schools in the Diocese to become principal but was determined to lead Notre Dame to continued success
 
Julie is married to Ken Frosch. Together they have six children and five grandchildren. They are devoted members of Immaculate Conception Church in Fairmont.
