PHOTOS: First Look at BHS Senior Awards Assembly

About $4 million in scholarship awards are being awarded this morning at Bridgeport High School. The annual senior awards assembly opened with graduating seniors making their entrance to "Pomp and Circumstance," after which Principal Mark DeFazio and Senior Class President Quinn Stalnaker provided opening remarks and Study Body President Haden Miller lead his student peers and parent guests in the Pledge of Allegiance. Senior Class Representatives Lindsay Knight and Brine Takahashi provided brief speeches, after which Katie Coburn delivered a moving piano number before the awards got under way.
