Friday's assembly at Bridgeport High School was heavy with Santa spirit. The BHS Performing Arts Showcase featured groups including the BHS Dance Ensemble, the BHS band, jazz band and steel drum band, show choir, strings ensemble, French and Spanish clubs and dance classes. The annual event also included some fun and games, including the Santa Run in which Principal Mark DeFazio and Assistant Principal Matt DeMotto competed - completing several stops before joining their reindeer for their toy delivery.
