Photos: Christmas Trees from Region are Recycled in DEP/DNR Program Held at City Recreation Complex

Christmas trees from around the area were brought to the Bridgeport Recreation Complex Saturday to be recycled. The annual Christmas tree recycling program from the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection and the Division of Natural Resources’ will use the collected trees to create fish habitats at the bottom of West Virginia lakes and streams, thereby keeping them out of landfills and off the sides of our roads.
