Photos: City Welcomes Wreaths Across America Truck Into City

The City of Bridgeport welcomed the truck carrying wreaths for the Wreaths Across America program Friday morning. The truck was escorted by police along Johnson Avenue and travled towards the Bridgeport Cemetery. Students and community members welcomed the truck before Saturday's official ceremonies.
Wreaths Across America Team Bridgeport reached its goal of 1,575 wreaths – enough to be placed on the gravesite of every U.S. veteran buried at Bridgeport Cemetery. The ceremony is set for Saturday at noon at the Bridgeport Cemetery.
