Reminder: Scheduled Three-Hour School Delay in Place Today for Teacher Professional Development

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on February 12, 2016 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

County school systems throughout West Virginia -  and plenty surrounding Harrison County - have announced delays for tomorrow as some snow still remains on the ground and temperatures are going to be in the single digits or even lower, particularly with wind chills. Harrison County has not announced an official delay.

Harrison County Assistant Superintendent of Schools Anthony Fratto reminds students and parents that tomorrow there is a three-hour delay built into the school calendar for today - Friday, Feb. 12 - for the professional development  of teachers. It was initially an off day for students, but is a makeup day for previous days missed due to snow.

In the event that conditions would change that would change the scheduled delay to a closure, you can find it HERE. The link takes you to the West Virginia Department of Education's closings and delays page.
