Specializing in cold-pressed juices, smoothies, wraps, salads and other organic foods, Clean Juice in Charles Pointe held a ribbon cutting Friday morning.

Members of the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce facilitated the ribbon cutting, which was also attended by city officials, including Councilman Jon Griffith. Griffith officially welcomed the franchise – the very first Clean Juice in West Virginia.

Owners Cheryl and Randy Turner agreed that the store will be good for the Bridgeport community and the entire state. In fact, the new store is the very first in the nation to launch the new Clean Juice look and it will be featured in national commercials for the brand, Cheryl Turner said.

The Turners, who also own Integrative Wellness, just next store to Clean Juice in the Conference Center Way plaza, believe in a holistic approach to wellness. The franchise is such a good fit for their mission in life, to help people get and remain on a healthy lifestyle track.

“The whole store is based on an organic principal,” Dr. Randy Turner said. “But we’re very transparent. We can’t get some organic things certain times of the year, and that’s all on our board because we want you to know what’s in the foods you order.”

Fruits and vegetables are cut up in the kitchen and juice is produced, then stored in refrigeration to maintain nutrients

Fresh ingredients used to make toast, wraps, salads, acai bowls, etc. are displayed at the ordering station; again, so customers can see what they are ordering and consuming.

“You can come in for breakfast, lunch or dinner and if you’re on the run, you will soon be able to through the drive-thru,” Randy Turner said.
He explained that the delay in opening the drive-thru is based on a shipment delay, but he anticipates it will be open soon.

Clean Juice is located at the former Bridgeport Family Pharmacy. The area consisted of 2,400 square feet and the
2,400 square feet and the Clean Juice business – which
the Turners had to be approved to open – only needed 1,700 square feet.

That prompted the Turners to move Integrative Wellness from Fairmont to Bridgeport. The businesses go hand in hand, they said.
More details about Integrative Wellness, which also features Babies in Bloom ultrasound, is forthcoming on Connect-Bridgeport.

The Clean Juice grand opening continues Saturday with giveaways and specials. See below. See more photos of Friday's ribbon cutting at the gallery link below.
