To celebrate the grand opening, a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, July 25. The event will include demonstrations and chance-drawings for giveaways and door prizes.  Featured demonstrations will include the following:  Bathroom safety products and finding the right mobility device for you. Additionally, a variety of merchandise will be shown accompanied by a discussion about how insurance plays into obtaining these products.

 

“St. Joseph’s Hospital Home Medical Equipment Supply Store was previously located in Buckhannon,” said Skip Gjolberg, Administrator of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. “Not only is the new location in Bridgeport more centrally located, but it will also soon offer educational training sessions, unique to the durable medical equipment services currently offered in the market.”

 

WVU Medicine Home Medical Equipment offers everything from bandages to walkers to hydraulic lifts.  It is a one-stop shop for the more consumable, everyday items as well as equipment for special needs.
