This year, the Black Friday shopping experience got a whole lot more exciting at Meadowbrook Mall. The Mall opens at 8 p.m. Thanksgiving night and will offer an entire night full of giveaways, contests, entertainment and shopping.

 

Beginning at 8 p.m., the first 1,000 shoppers to line up in the WDTV5 Event Center will receive FREE Tote Bags and Reindeer Gear, while supplies last. Shoppers who wear their Reindeer Gear throughout the evening will have the chance to be chosen by Santa’s Elves to win Mall Gift Cards! 97.9 WKKW-FM will broadcast LIVE from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. and will continue to play the holiday tunes you until midnight.

 

Shoppers will also be able to Register-to-Win all weekend long for one of two $200 Mall Gift Card Shopping Sprees at the Customer Service Center. You must be at least 18 years of age to enter and you must be present to win during the drawings, which will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29 and again on Sunday, Nov. 30 at the Mall’s Customer Service Center.

 

A new event is planned for 2 a.m. Friday morning, Nov. 28…a $1,000 Prize Spectacular BALLOON DROP in the WDTV5 Event Center!

If you catch one of the balloons as they fall, you could win one of many Mall Gift Cards or other prizes. You must be at least 18 years of age to play and present a valid driver’s license or proper photo I.D. to claim your prize.

 

Games continue from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. with the ROCK THE MALL Social Media Olympics 2014, a series of social media and on-site contests with $1,000 in prizes to be awarded.
