Section of Interstate 79 to See North and Southbound Lane Closures in Marion County for Nearly a Month

FROM THE WEST VIRGINIA DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS, DISTRICT 4 OFFICE
The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that there will be Lane Closure on Interstate 79 from the Mile Post 136 to Mile Post 139 beginning on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. and will continue through Friday, September 4, 2020. Night-Time Operations Only.
The purpose for the closure is for Milling and Paving. Work will be performed on Interstate 79 Northbound and Southbound. The Northbound and Southbound will have one lane open during this time.
A Lane Closure will be in place for Night-Time Operations Only. Expect Delays.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute. Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
