Are you up for something new and different this winter? In West Virginia, you can take an unforgettable mountain adventure by snowmobile through the remote Appalachian backcountry of Snowshoe Mountain Resort. It’s an adventure extraordinaire that will add a new experience and new snow-covered views to this beautiful winter season!
 
Snowmobile Tours of Snowshoe Mountain are available during the daytime or at night. Drivers must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver's license, and passengers must be at least 6 years old and 46 inches tall. Tours should be booked in advance. 
 
Daytime backcountry wilderness tours of Snowshoe provide 1.5 hours of access to the backcountry wilderness around Snowshoe Mountain. Participants will pass through open fields and old-growth forests. They'll cross frozen creeks and climb narrow hills.
 
Daytime tours of the backcountry wilderness are only offered when natural snow levels are deep enough to allow this adventure.
