On July 16, West Virginia State Police in Bridgeport issued a Silver Alert for Lumberport's Larry Anthony Marra after his wife reported him missing. That alert was canceled Saturday after discovering that Marra was involved in a fatal accident. He was found inside his vehicle over a hill along County Route 18 in Lumberport.
