Slide Correction Project on Section of US 19 to Force Lane Closure

The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that there will be a traffic delay/lane closure on US 19, Shinnston Pike beginning on Wednesday, July 22 through Friday, September 25 from 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
The purpose of the traffic delay/lane closure is the beginning of a slide correction project (Micropile System). Traffic will be narrowed to a single lane only. Flaggers will be utilized to control traffic.
Alternate routes will be US 50 & County Route 24. Expect delays. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.
Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
