Thanks to our friends at the City of Clarksburg and Marketing and Community Relations Specialist Dominique Medina Spatafore, Connect-Bridgeport will occasionally run photos from the City of Clarksburg's Web site for the restoration of the old Robinson Grand that will soon open as the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center. The Web site is "therobinsongrand.com" and is hyperlinked below.

Here is a description of the photo from the City of Clarksburg.

Here is a rare view of the front of the Robinson Grand. The exact date of this photo is unknown, but we estimate it to be around the mid-to-late 1960s. The Film "Stagecoach", staring Bing Crosby, which was highlighted on the marquee, was released in June 1966.

"Do you have a photo, artifact, or story about the Robinson Grand or Rose Garden? We would love to see and hear it! Please share your information through the link below, and we will be sure to contact you."
