The Spring/Summer 2016 issue of WV Weddings is hot off the press, showcasing photos and details of weddings across the Mountain State. Several featured couples are from Bridgeport and surrounding cities.

 

From Bridgeport, Kathryn Grace Lawrence married Andreas Josef Schmid of Munich, Germany on May 30, 2015. The WV Weddings register captures their ceremony and reception, held at and catered by New York City’s Harvard Club. The venue’s charm, including tall ceilings adorned with chandeliers, was ideal for the chic event which featured miniature flowering trees as centerpieces and a dogwood-lined archway. Chosen as An Editor’s Pick, the wedding is also featured in a six-page story, written by Mikenna Pierotti with several wedding photos by by Pennace Photography.

 

Clarksburg’s Jordan Nicole Paletta and her groom Justin Keith Shelly of Chicago chose Pete Dye Golf Course for their May 23, 2015 outdoor wedding ceremony. Showcasing classic black and white with gold accents, the elegant affair featured feathers, beads and sequins. Photography was provided by The Silver Shutter. 

 

Also of Clarksburg, Sarah Ann Webb and Joseph Michael Angotti were joined in matrimony May 23, 2015, in their native city, choosing Jackson Square as their venue. From the sparkling cookie table to a sparkler send-off, the moments were captured by Brittany Anderson Photography. 

Bridgeport’s Brittany Ann Perine married Andrew Louis McQuaid Aug. 1, 2015 in a casual outdoor ceremony at their Lumberport home. Featuring hand-tied, freshly-picked wildflowers, paper lanterns and lace/burlap accents, the wedding was attended by the couple’s large family who enjoyed a pig roast with country trimmings and a tented backyard reception. The wedding was captured by Jessica Ashcraft Photography. 

 

Ashley Nicole Wilhelm and Justin Michael Trippett were united in marriage June 6, 2015, several years after they were Bridgeport High School sweethearts. The couple chose All Saints Catholic Church as their wedding venue and Pete Dye Golf Club for their reception. Featuring a romantic atmosphere, the reception venue was adorned in pink- and coral-hued flowers and candles. Photos were taken by Brittany Anderson Photography.

 

Though natives of Huntington and Bayard, WV, respectively, Candice Rae Wright and Zachariah Evan Riggleman selected 4T Arena on the outskirts of Bridgeport for their May 16, 2015 wedding. Showcasing brilliant purples and sparkling lights offset with rustic undertones, the ceremony and reception were captured by Brittany Anderson Photography.
