Bridgeport Police Chief John Walker has said before that just because drugs may be produced or grown outside the city limits does not mean they don’t end up here. With that in mind, what was announced yesterday in several neighboring and nearby counties was certainly good news.

 

According to WDTV, West Virginia State Police in six local counties seized 1,320 marijuana plants. The plants, which had a street value of nearly $3.2 million, were destroyed. The counties where the investigation took place were Barbour, Braxton, Gilmer, Lewis, Upshur and Webster.
