Thursday Fire in Summit Park Destroys Home

WDTV reports that a house on Beechwood Avenue in Summit Park has been ruled a total loss after a fire Thursday afternoon.
Officials say the damage was concentrated to the back of the house. There is still no word on an official cause of the fire.
Two pets were inside the home at the time of the fire. One is confirmed to have escaped. There is no word on the whereabouts of the other one.
