On Thursday, Sept. 18, the Harrison County Street Crimes and Drug Unit (SCAD) arrested two individuals and are seeking two others, all of whom were involved in selling illegal narcotics during the months of July and August of 2014.

Arrested were Heath Knotts, left, and Taylor Washington.  Their arrests are the result of an undercover operation conducted by the SCAD Unit in which controlled drug buys were made from these individuals.

Heath Knotts, 29, from Broadway, is charged with three counts of Delivery of Heroin, all felonies.

Taylor Washington, 24, from Clarksburg, is charged with one count of Delivery of Heroin (felony) and one count of petit larceny (misdemeanor).

In addition to the two arrested, the SCAD Unit has warrants for two more individuals for drug related offenses which occurred during the undercover operation.

Both Knotts and Washington were arraigned by Harrison County Magistrate Warren Davis who set Knott’s bond at $150,000 and Washington’s bond at $52,500.  Neither posted bond and both were transported the North Central Regional Jail.
