According to WDTV, drivers commuting along Meadowbrook Road in Harrison County may be seeing traffic delays in the next few days. The road is down to one lane after what PSD officals described as a road slip following a water main break.

 

Part of the road caved in, and is now patched with gravel following a repair of the break. However, PSD manager Howard "Rusty" Mall told 5 News that the road will not be safe and smooth to drive on until it is blacktopped over, a project that is expected to be complete soon.

 

Motorist David Posey said he doesn't mind the lane closure, as long as the project is getting done.

 

"You can't complain when roads are bad and then complain when you wait for them to fix them."

 

Officials expect the work to be done Friday.
