FROM HARRISON COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT CHIEF DEPUTY JEFF MCATEE

Today, the Harrison County Sheriff's Department Street Crime and Drug Unit (SCAD) arrested two individuals and are seeking a third on felony charges in connection with operating a methamphetamine lab in their apartment at Oakmound in Clarksburg.

in the early morning hours today, SCAD Deputies arrested Timothy Joshua Golden, 27, of Clarksburg, and Ariel Nichole Ware, 24, also of Clarksburg, for the felony charges of operation of methamphetamine lab, possession of precursors to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of Xanax with intent to distribute, child neglect with the risk of injury, and two conspiracy charges related to the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Justin R. Golden, 24 of Clarksburg, face the same felony charges as Ware and his brother, Timothy, but with the addition of two felony charges of delivery/sale of methamphetamine. Justin Golden escaped custody at the scene and fled.

These charges stem from SCAD deputies executing a search warrant on Ware’s apartment at the Oakmound Complex.  During the search, SCAD Deputies, with the assistance of the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department’s Meth Lab Response Team located two “meth labs,” all the precursors and lab gear to manufacture methamphetamine, and finished methamphetamine packaged for resale inside the Oakmound Apartment.

After finding the “meth labs” SCAD evacuated the affected section of the apartment complex and set up proper ventilation with assistance from the Clarksburg Fire Department and Clarksburg Police Department.  It was during this evacuation process that Justin Golden escaped custody.

Ware had two small children who lived with her in the apartment but were not present at the time of the raid.  However, Ware admitted to SCAD Deputies that the children had been present in the apartment during a previous “meth cook”.

“If anyone has any information on the location of Justin R. Golden, please contact the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department at 304-623-6655 with details”.
