Two Residents Escape, One Pet Perishes in Overnight Clarksburg House Fire, Declared Total Loss

Officials on scene say an early morning fire destroyed a home on South 5th Street in Clarksburg just after 2 a.m. Tuesday.
At least two people were home at the time, but both made it out safely. The family pet did not survive the flames.
