U.S. Route 50-Emily Drive Intersection Site of Another Collision; This One Has Entrapment, UHC Transport

A Wednesday wreck at an intersection well known for accidents had another one that saw two vehicles, sent one person to the hospital and led to traffic backups in the area.
 
According to the Harrison County 911 log, the accident took place at 5:31 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Route 50 and Emily Drive. The area, which is the boundary between Bridgeport and Clarksburg, saw both Bridgeport and Clarksburg Police respond to the call.
 
WBOY reported that the accident involved an Audi that was heading westbound on Route 50. The Audi collided with a Baker Hughes truck heading in the opposite direction.
 
The 911 log stated that there was entrapment in the situation. There is no word on the seriousness of the injuries, but one individual was taken to United Hospital Center.  There was also no information on any other injuries.
 
According to the 911 log, the matter is being investigated by the Bridgeport Police Department.
