Update: Morgantown Police, WVU Officials Now Reporting "No Stabbing" Took Place Tuesday Evening

UPDATE: II: Morgantown Police are now saying that information released by WVU on a stabbing was inaccurate. The police say there was no stabbing and no suspect on the loose.
 
UPDATE: Although details are minor, West Virginia University has sent out a report saying the situation with a Tuesday stabbing has been "resolved," according to police. No further information is available. Check the link below from WDTV, who will likely update as infomation becomes available. 
 
ORIGINAL: A suspected stabber is on the loose in Monongalia County as of Tuesday night, according to a report from WDTV. The news station is reporting that "according to an alert from WVU, the stabbing happened along Chestnut Street."
 
The victim was allegedly stabbed with a pocket knife in front of the Chestnut Boutique Hotel. The report said the suspect, as of this morning, was still on the loose.
