VIDEO: Sample Performance by BHS Cheer Team

The Bridgeport High School cheer team took the floor at last week's Homecoming assembly, providing a sample of their talent for the 2019-20 school year. The team is preparing for regional competition, which will be held Nov. 9 at Spring Mills High School in Martinsburg. 
 
Prior to that, the BHS Cheer Team will host the annual Little Miss Indian contest, Oct 25 at Wayne Jamison Field, just before the Indians take on Keyser. Game time is 7 p.m. so Little Miss Indian activities will get underway between 6:30 and 6:45 p.m. 
 
Contestants are Kennedy Painter (age 4), cheer sponsor Addie Boggs; Julia Arnold (age 7), cheer sponsor Miranda Kress; Kyra Mugge (age 5), cheer sponsor Alyson Gibson; Stella Rae Murphy (age 4), cheer sponsor Lilly Strait; Bentley Davisson (age 5), cheer sponsor Jade Nguyen; Violet Cann (age 5), cheer sponsor Rylee Mullins; Pnelope Kemmerer (age 5), cheer sponsor Lillian Iaquinta; Emersyn Harrison (age 7), cheer sponsor Lauren Johnston; Olivia Bell (age 9), cheer sponsor Gyllian Wagner; Kendall Leigh Paugh (age 7), cheer sponsor Emilia Underwood; Aurora Waldron (age 3), cheer sponsor Andie McCall; Nora Tuttle (age 4), cheer sponsor Brynna Greathouse; Antonia Devono (age 4), cheer sponsor Sally Hamrick; Ava Davis (age 7), cheer sponsor Abigail Davis and Bryanna Perkins (age 4), cheer sponsor Abby Clifton. 
 
Little Miss Indian is an annual fundraiser for the BHS Cheerleaders. The team is coached by Natalie Hathaway and Janet Hathaway.
