The Bridgeport Conference Center once again hosted a statewide event; and this time it involved the men and women in uniform. On Saturday, the Center hosted the West Virginia Chiefs of Police Conference with more than 100 individuals - chiefs, staff and family - visiting the city.

 

In this report from WBOY, Bridgeport Police Chief John Walker spoke highly of the event. Also, President of the West Virginia Chiefs of Police Association, Raymond Fridley, has this to say:

 

“Chief Walker and his staff did an excellent job. We've enjoyed it and it's one of the best conferences we've had for years. All these officers get together and we have a good time,” said Fridley, Ripley's Police Chief.
