Weekend Harrison County Reported Shooting Leads to Person Needing Medical Flight to Ruby Memorial

FROM THE REYNOLDSVILLE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
 
At approximately 11:15 p.m. Saturday, the Reynoldsville Volunteer Fire Department, along with Harrison County EMS, Harrison County Sheriff's Department and West Virginia State Police, were alerted for a reported shooting at the Wilsonburg BFS. Engine 81 and Unit 85 responded with a total of six personnel.
 
EMS personnel assessed the patient and alerted HealthNet Aeromedical to transport the patient to Ruby Memorial Hospital. Crews assisted EMS with patient care and transport to the landing zone at the Clarksburg Fire Department's North View substation.
 
Clarksburg Fire Department Engine 241 set up the landing zone at their station. RVFD crews operated on the call for approximately 45 minutes before returning to service.
