West Virginia University Personal Transit System to Close Dec. 14 for Winter Break

PROVIDED BY WVU TODAY: 
West Virginia University’s Personal Rapid Transit system will not be in operation during the winter break planned Dec. 14 - Jan. 3. The PRT will resume normal operations Jan. 4.  
 
PRT train control modernization efforts will continue during winter break. The West Virginia University campus service Blue and Gold Connector through the Mountain Line Transit Authority will be operational during the winter break with exceptions for Christmas and New Year’s Day. The Beechurst Express and Campus PM will not operate during the WVU winter break. 
 
Also, available on Dec. 14 is a special winter break bus service to Hagerstown, Maryland, Secaucus, New Jersey and Highland, New York. Additionally, service will be available to King of Prussia, Allentown and Carlisle, all in Pennsylvania.

Grey Line will run as usual throughout the holiday. Reservations are recommended by visiting ridegreyline.org or by calling 304.296.3869.
WVU students and employees may ride the Mountain Line bus for free with a valid WVU ID.
