Wintry weather conditions resulted in some early-Wednesday morning vehicle accidents, including one which occurred at 5:45 a.m. along I-79.

A white SUV slid off the roadway and into the guardrail, causing substantial damage to the vehicle, which was removed from the scene by Dan Riggs Towing.

The vehicle was traveling northbound on I-79 before losing control, busting through the guardrail and into the median. The incident happened near the 124 mile marker/Jerry Dove Drive.

There were no hospital transports resulting from the accident, but it is believed there was a transport involved in a 5:30 a.m. vehicle accident at the 129 mile marker, north of the 5:45 a.m. accident.
