Off the Shelf: A Loaded Spring Schedule of Books to be Released has Begun with Several on Way to City

By Sharon Saye on February 03, 2021 from Off the Shelf via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Since publishers last spring pushed back the release dates of many of their scheduled books, readers can look forward to a very loaded spring.  And the books releasing this week are certainly a great example.

The library has ordered most of these titles, but since they released on February 2nd many of them are not here yet but should be arriving during the next few weeks.  You can place a hold on books either online or when you call.

The biggest book releasing on February 2nd is “Four Winds” by Kristin Hannah.  The bestselling author of “The Nightingale” moves to the Great Depression, and all the reviewers are warning to have a box of Kleenex handy.

Jane Harper returns on February 2nd with another thriller, “The Survivors,” in which “coming home dredges up deeply buried secrets.”  A new author, Abigail Dean, is churning up real buzz with her thriller about a woman who thinks she outran her past, “Girl A.”

“The Project” by Courtney Summers, the author of “Sadie,” is about a sister trying to save her sibling from a cult.

Other new books scheduled for February 2nd release are: “Best Laid Plans” by Gwen Florio, “A History of What Comes Next” by Sylvain Neuvel, “The Paris Library” by Janet Skeslien Charles, “The Removed” by Brandon Hobson and “My Year Abroad” by Chang Rae Lee.
