The Harrison County Recreation Complex will host the 1^st Annual Clarksburg Gem, Mineral, Jewelry and Fossil Show this Saturday, November 22^nd through Sunday, November 23^rd.  The event will run from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday and 11:00 am to 5:00 pm Sunday. 

 

Ray Garton, owner and operator of Prehistoric Planet in Barrackville, will be the host of the event and promises a learning experience for people of all ages.

 

“The event will have displays of different vendors throughout the country and they will showcase all sorts of items that come from the earth.  There will be anything from natural stones to jewelry for everyone to see and purchase.  And throughout the day, there will be different demonstrations from our vendors for the audience to witness.”

 

Admission is $3.00, which is good for both days, and all children under the age of 6 are admitted for free.  There is free parking and plenty of space for handicap parking as well.
