The Harrison County Parks and Recreation Board, in cooperation with the Harrison County Commission will host a private gathering at the HCPRC Recreation Complex this Thursday, March 13th to show off the Walking with Dinosaurs exhibit on display through the month of March. Because of the event, the display will be closed Thursday to the public.

“We wanted to give the Commission an idea of what the Vital Service Levy has done for the Parks and Recreation and Harrison County through our Enrichment Programs like Walking with Dinosaurs,” remarked Doug Comer, Deputy Director.  “This is by far the most popular program we offer, and to have a private gathering of Commission, HCPRC Board and invited guests will only show how important the Parks and Rec department is to educating the children of Harrison County.”

Although closed Thursday, individuals can stop by the Parks and Recreation Complex during regular hours of Monday through Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The exhibit is also open Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
