BHS Alum Miki Glen Dominating for Cal (Pa.) as She is Named PSAC Player of Week for Fourth Time

For the second-straight week and fourth time this year, California University of Pennsylvania senior guard Miki Glenn (Bridgeport, W.Va./Bridgeport) was selected the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Athlete of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Glenn averaged 21.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 4.7 steals per game last week, as the Vulcans earned three divisional victories to move into a tie for second in the PSAC West standings. She shot 47.1 percent (24-of-51) from the field while playing 117 of 120 minutes last week. Glenn opened the week by scoring 28 points after shooting 10-of-20 from the field on Monday in a 96-65 win against Slippery Rock. The West Virginia native also collected nine rebounds, seven assists and six steals versus The Rock. Glenn then finished with 19 points, eight rebounds, six assists and five steals in a 78-57 victory at Pitt-Johnstown on Wednesday. She closed the week by posting 18 points, five rebounds, six assists and three steals in an 83-68 win on Saturday versus Seton Hill.
 
A 5-foot-7 senior, Glenn leads the PSAC this season in points, assists, steals and minutes per game. She paces the league and ranks No. 16 in the country in scoring at 19.5 points per game behind eight 20-point games. The reigning PSAC West Athlete of the Year sits third in the nation with 7.1 assists per game and also ranks eighth with 3.41 steals per game.
 
Glenn has now received the weekly league honor seven times in her career. She enters the week ranked fifth among active players in NCAA Division II with 1,792 career points and is fourth with 515 career assists.
