FROM BRIDGEPORT HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL

 

The 2020 Bridgeport High School baseball team's elimination dinner will still take place, but it's going to have a unique - and hopefully one time - format this year. We will be going FaceBook Live on Friday, July 31 at 7 p.m. from Via Veneto’s to begin our drawing for $1000.00.

 

We will also have meal pickup at Via Veneto’s for those who have purchased tickets for the Elimination Dinner from 5pm to 7pm on Friday, July 31st.

 

We wish we could celebrate together like we always do at Via Veneto’s, but in light of the current situation we feel this is a much safer route.  Please wear your mask when doing food pickup on Friday and social distance as well.  

 

Tune in on to our BHS Tribe Baseball Facebook page for the live stream of the drawing beginning at 7 p.m.. MC for the event will be Ricky Johnson. 

 

We will also be setting up an online silent auction for the amazing baskets that we have prepared for this event.  This information will be is posted on the BHS Tribe Baseball page as well. The silent auction began Sunday, July 26 and will run to Saturday, August 1 at Noon.

 

To make a bid for an Online Silent Auction item, simply type your name, and the amount you wish to bid in the comment section of the item PICTURE on Facebook.  Bidding closes at Noon on August 1.

 

The opening bid on each item must be at least the minimum bid of $100.00. Each subsequent bid must follow the minimum increment of $5.00. Any bids not adhering to this format will be declared invalid and voided. 

 

Once the auction is declared closed, the highest bid entered on the comment section that adheres to the designated increment shall constitute the winning bid and will so be marked.

 

The winning bidder will be contacted, via Facebook message, to arrange payment (cash, Venmo, PayPal, We do not accept personal checks) and to arrange pick up of items.  We only offer pickup of items - we do not ship.

 

Payment for items purchased must be made in full within 48 hours of close of auction. Receipts will be available upon request. 

 

Any item left unclaimed will be offered to the next highest bidder and sold. 

 

By bidding in the Online Silent Auction, each bidder agrees to these rules.  Auction item purchases are final. No returns or exchanges will be issued. All items are “as is”.

 

We do not provide guarantees, warranties or servicing of auction items and we are not liable for any personal injury or damage to property that may result from the use of the item or service sold.
