After Bridgeport won its sixth-straight Class AA title Saturday at Appalachian Power Park in Charleston, there wasn’t much left to do afterwards other than celebrate, do interviews and head home. Of course, prior to heading home the ‘AA’ all-tournament team was announced.

 

Not surprisingly, the Indians dominated the squad. In fact, the Tribe had five of the 10 selections as chosen by members of the media.

 

The Tribe players selected included seniors Vincenzo Cava, Tim Via and Drew Harbert. Junior Nick Stalnaker and sophomore Ryan Goff were also chosen to the squad.

 

Frankfort, who faced BHS in the championship game, had two selections. The Falcons’ Zack Whitacre and Caleb Hare were named to the team.

 

Scott’s Carter Lyles and Aaron Epling were selected to the squad. Kenneth Sizemore of Shady Spring, Bridgeport’s first round foe, was also chosen.
