Bridgeport junior standout Wes Brown Jr. has been selected by Coalfields & Co. as the top from Class AAA, AA and A for the 2024 season.

Brown was a Class AAAA First-Team All-State selection in 2023 as one of the primary blockers for the most prolific offense in school history as BHS set school records for rushing yards with 5,420 and rushing touchdowns with 82.
He was just as much of a force on defense where he had 39 tackles, 5.5 for a loss, a sack and two blocked kicks.
