Smith, Knapp, Pinti and Keener made up the 400 free team that won with a time of 3:40.70.

The Bridgeport girls are now 7-2 on the season and the defending state champion boys are still undefeated at 9-0. Both teams will be back in action on Wednesday with a dual meet against Buckhannon-Upshur on the campus of West Virginia Wesleyan.

“It should be a very competitive meet,” Bridgeport coach Jan Grisso said. “Buckhannon-Upshur has a lot of really good, young swimmers. Plus it’s a great meet for us so we can get in that pool at Wesleyan one more time before the regional meet there."

Following the dual meet with B-U, the Indians will compete in the Harrison County championship meet on Friday at Salem.
