BHS Wrestling Team Out of State Tournament; COVID Quarantine Restrictions Cited as Reason

The Bridgeport High School wrestling team will not be participating in the state wrestling tournament according to a post on the website WVMat.com by state tournament director Bill Archer.
Archer’s post said the reason was COVID quarantine restrictions.
The Indians were slated to send eight wrestlers to Huntington on Monday for the two-day portion of the Class AAA tournament in the following weight classes – 120, 138, 145, 160, 170, 182, 195 and 285.
