BMS Girls Soccer Team Finishes Perfect Season with Fifth Straight Harrison County Championship

The Bridgeport Middle School girls soccer team recently wrapped up another banner season with its fifth consecutive Harrison County Championship.
 
The Braves finished with a record of 10-0 and outscored their opponents by a combined score of 73-0.
 
Eleven different players scored at least one goal this season and 11 different players had at least one assist.
 
Ciara McDonald led the team with 21 goals. Chloe Miller had 12 goals and a team-best seven assists. Addyson Buffington added 10 goals, while Maria Day had eight goals and was second on the team in assists with five.
 
Goalkeeper Keira Klingensmith was credited with 10 shutouts.
 
The eighth-grade class which features Klingensmith, McDonald, Miller, Bryanna Fisher, Lauryn Patterson, Bria Smell, Elisa Dinaldo, Allyson Mann and LeeAnn Gaskins will leave middle school with a three-year record of 36-0 where opponents were outscored by a combined score of 208-8.
 
Other members of the 2020 squad were Savannah Courtney, Lily Day, Carley Lattea, Allison Wilson, Kamryn Small, Eliza Perine and Ellie McCall.
