Big 10 Conference Tennis Tournament Possibly Postponed for Today

Friday's portion of the Big 10 Conference tennis tournament was tentatively canceled in anticipation of severe weather forecasted for the area.
As of 11:30 a.m., a decision was made to open the courts at the lakes and Robert C. Byrd High School for warm-ups at 2:30 p.m. with play to begin at 3:30 p.m., assuming the courts are dry enough to play on.
The situation will be monitored over the next couple of hours leading up to the 2:30 p.m. warm-up time.
Play will resume regardless of Friday's decision, at 9 a.m. on Saturday at both the tennis courts at the lakes and Robert C. Byrd High School.
