Bridgeport’s Boy Scout Troop 40 has been a long-standing staple in the Bridgeport community and surrounding areas for many decades.  From our regular participation in community-wide events, parades, and service projects to the outstanding contributions of our Eagle Scouts, Bridgeport Troop 40 continues to serve as a strong, positive example of dedication to our youth and community.

 

To help the troop cover the cost of camps, equipment and activities, and to reduce the financial burden placed upon their families, The Friends of Bridgeport Troop 40 Committee is excited to announce a new fundraiser!

 

This year, The Friends of Boy Scout Troop 40, Bridgeport, will be hosting a fun filled golf tournament to help support scouting activities, camp outs, and future adventure trips.

 

The tournament will be held at the Bridgeport Country Club on Monday, June 26 , 2023  with a 1:00pm shotgun start.

 

The format of the tournament will be a 4-man scramble and the costs are $125 per person or $500 per team.  Additionally, there will be opportunities to sponsor a hole for $200 per hole.

 

Golfers will also have an opportunity to participate in several games throughout their round of golf, including a chance to win in a hole-in-one challenge!
