Bridgeport High School boys clinched first place and the girls second in the Brooke Winter Invitational held Thursday evening at Brooke High School Natatorium.

 

Among the Tribe’s defining races was the boys’ 200- and 500-yard freestyle events, both won by Ethan Robey. Sarah Stallman won the 200-yard individual medley and Dariian Spencer won the 100-yard breaststroke. Both Stallman and Spencer were members of the 200-yard freestyle relay, also won by the Lady Indians.

 

Martins Ferry, Ohio earned second place on the boys’ side. Among local teams participating were Robert C. Byrd and Fairmont Senior, finishing sixth and seventh, respectively.

 

Martins Ferry captured the girls’ win. Fairmont Senior placed third.
