Bridgeport Football Holds Annual X Games Competitions

Just under 50 Bridgeport football players competed against each other on Friday at both Wayne Jamison Field and the Bridgeport City Park. Because it was the last day of summer, the football team could do everything, except for football related things. The upper classman competed against the under classman in an obstacle course, soccer, basketball and even had a homerun derby.
High School football practice begins on Monday at 8am. Bridgeport will kick off the 2015 football season on Thursday, August 27 and will do so with a live televised game on WVFX.
