Registration for the upcoming season of Bridgeport Jerry West League basketball will begin Oct. 1 and will continue through Nov. 11. Registration will be done online only.

 

Those interested in registering need to visit www.bridgeportjw.com. Once to the Web site, click on the “Register” button and begin.

 

The age groups are as follows for boys and girls: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12. There is also a 13-15 boys division. Players have to be that age by September 1.

 

The cost is $95 for the first child, $75 for the second child and $55 for each additional child. Individuals registering after Nov. 11 will be assessed a $25 late fee. For parents who have children eligible to play for their school teams, but aren’t sure they’ll make it they must still register. In the even the child makes the school team, reimbursements of the registration fee will be made.

 

Evaluation will be held the week of Nov. 26. Practice begins Dec. 3. The championship weekend is Feb. 23-24.
