Bridgeport Middle School Caps Perfect Campaign with Overtime Win against Hilltoppers in Title Contest

Pictured are members of the varsity and junior varsity basketball teams at Bridgeport Middle School. Last week, the Braves varsity middle school team captured the Harrison County basketball championship.
BMS won the title 37-29 in overtime against Washington Irving. The Braves were able to force overtime after being down by six points with less than two minutes left in regulation.
The Braves pitched a shutout in overtime. Six of Bridgeport's points in overtime came on free throws, while the other came by a traditional basket.
Bridgeport finished the year 12-0. The team is coached by Greg Douglas and assisted by Justin Noble.
