Broncos Take Home the Victory in the U13 Division of Roar Sports NFL Flag Football Season at The Bridge

Roar Sports recently completed their 2022 Spring NFL FLAG football season with 2 exciting games that did not disappoint. Fans cheered their teams on to hard-fought victories.
The U13 game was the third meeting of the season between the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers. The teams split the season series 
1-1 as the top teams in the U13 division. As if picking up where they left off in their second meeting, the game started off tight as a defensive slugfest. Each team was waiting for the other to make a mistake.

The Broncos' defense opened up the scoring with a safety followed by Elijah “Bear” Saab hauling in a touchdown pass with 2 defenders draped on him from QB Jake Quinlan. The Steelers refused to go away, driving deep into Denver territory but coming up short as the Broncos' defense stood firm. Late in the 2nd half while backed up on their own goalline, Quinlan escaped the blitz and dumped a pass out in the flat to Nicholas Munro who evaded a Steelers defender and went the distance for another score. Saab wrapped up the scoring by slinging a short TD pass to Landon Lee in the back of the endzone to cap off a hard-fought victory. The Broncos, led by Head Coach Jaycen Saab, defeated the Steelers by a final score of 23-6.
Roar Sports will complete their 2022 NFL FLAG season with a Pro-Bowl slated for Saturday, June 18 with a game for each division. Teams will play on behalf of one of two local charities. Those charities are Life Choice Pregnancy Resource Center and Northern Appalachia Teen Challenge. Along with lead sponsor Marple Heating & Cooling, Roar Sports will donate all monies from the game to said charities. While all games are free admission, Roar Sports will be asking fans for a $5 donation for admission which will also go towards the charitable contributions.
Registration for the 2022 Fall Season is now open at Eary Bird rates. Rates increase on July 5.
