Carey Dismisses Player for Violating WVU Women's Hoops Team Rules

West Virginia women’s basketball coach Mike Carey has announced that sophomore Bre McDonald is no longer on the team.
“Bre McDonald is no longer part of the team due to a violation of team rules.”
McDonald, a sophomore guard from Lithonia, Georgia, sat out last season due to NCAA transfer rules. Prior to her arrival at WVU, she spent the 2012-13 season at Georgia Tech.
Coach Carey will not comment further on this situation.
