By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on July 29, 2014 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

The Delaware Attorney General's office has dropped witness intimidation charges against West Virginia University football player Wendall Smallwood. According to MetroNews.com, the charges were dropped "hours after an acquaintance of the West Virginia running back pleaded guilty to second-degree murder."

There was no word in the report on whether WVU Coach Dana Holgorsen will allow Smallwood to return to the team, but the report does say that Smallwood's name was still listed on the roster as of today. Click HERE to read the full report.
